- low noise (1-2dB) tunable MOSFET FM pre-amplifier (for sensitivity)
- 150kHz ceramic filters in the 10.7 MHz IF strip (for selectivity)
Features to look for:
- Alternate selectivity - 100db
- Adjacent selectivity - 80db at 300khz, 95db at 400khz
- Low Capture ratio - 1db (use with phasing unit?)
- Center tuned indicator
- Strength Meter
- Small tuning intervals - 25kHz
- Dual 75 ohm antenna inputs
